The Cheeky Panda was founded a couple of years ago by two environmentally conscious entrepreneurs, Chris Forbes and Julie Chen after a holiday in South East Asia. They discovered that there was a huge surplus of naturally sustainable bamboo which wasn’t being fully utilized. They decided the time was right to introduce bamboo to the UK and European tissue paper markets as a viable, skin-friendly and abundant alternative resource to wood.

The brand works alongside with the World Land Trust, which means that they’re also 100% carbon neutral. This partnership allows The Cheeky Panda to offset every stage of farming, production, and shipping, protecting trees, plants, and animals in the Vietnamese rainforests.
